Benefits

The KOLBUS Bookjet® perfect binder KM 200 operates with 26 transport clamps which are engineered as swivelling clamps. The system features continuous, automatic make-ready. As the product is picked up by a transport clamp, the block thickness is measured and the value transmitted for fine adjustments to the spine processing tools and the scoring station.

Features

Highly dynamic axes adjust continuously to changing product thicknesses without specific make-ready processes. This allows the system to react precisely to thickness variations from product to product. The system can process folded sections and loose stacks of sheets. The covers for the digitally printed product are separated from a slanted stack by the rotary cover feeder. If there is a mismatch between block and cover, the covers are ejected ahead of the scoring station and can be reused.
