The LuxePack New York was held on 10th and 11th May 2017 as usual at the Pier 92 in New York, USA. The packaging exhibition for the luxury sector took place for the fifteenth time and is one of the most important event regarding exclusive and imaginative packaging solutions. Also KOLBUS participates this year at the famous exhibition with numerous machine-made packaging samples and design ideas to represents the KOLBUS packaging machine portfolio which was established in 2012.
Under the slogan ›Packaging solutions & design proposals‹ and the own label ›August und Christine Marie – Luxury Packaging by KOLBUS‹, we presented on an 8 m² information booth the latest manufacturing ideas and realization possibilities. A majority of the exhibition samples was produced fully automated on the modular KOLBUS machine system. A further part was represented by hand-made samples for the inspiration. In conjunction with the new KOLBUS BOXline brochure, both packaging types opened up a lot of conversations and represented the basis for deeper technical dialogues.
The KOLBUS booth concept consisted of an exhibition as well as discussion area to represent the luxury packaging optimally. One highlight was the ›Magic Cube‹ in different sizes and colors. This packaging idea will be manufactured fully automated by the KOLBUS machines and is characterized by two multi-piece cases and an amazing magnetic lock concept. Also the ›Collar boxes‹ with a visible inner part, the ›Document folder‹ as well as wine packing solutions for more than one wine bottles got a lot of sensation. All shown packaging samples were especially developed by our designer and can be easily manufactured with the KOLBUS machinery system. KOLBUS as an engineering company use this own design services for further development steps. Furthermore we can support our customers with new implementation ideas and manufacturing methods.
The feedback of the international visitors was amazing. Especially the processing quality of the box edges was over and over again mentioned. Further quality aspects were named regarding the foil embossing as well as the versatile design possibilities via the KOLBUS packaging label.
With 90 new contacts, the two-day exhibition can be graded as a fully success. We are glad to welcoming you also at the next LuxePack which will be held from 2nd to 4th October 2017 in Monaco.
