KOLBUS Castings for your company

We supply everything from a single source, from prototypes to single pieces – to small production runs, including procurement management and material purchasing, outsourcing of machining processes such as turning, surface treatments including hardening, and finishing processes like grinding and assembly.

The foundry still relies on good old-fashioned handicrafts. As employees have different ways of proceeding, instructions for certain processes are essential. Since the mid-1990s, important instructions have been stored in a database with photos.

The database is accessible to the foundry's employees via PC and suggestions for improvement are documented in a traceable manner. Over the years, a lot of data and information has been generated; there are currently 12,234 model systems and the number is growing. To make our processes safer and to continuously improve the quality of our castings, our casting database is an important tool.

An advanced production tracking system precisely coordinates the progress of every component, resulting in highly transparent and cost-effective processes.
