The final assembly area in the KOLBUS plant takes up over 15,000 m2. In contrast to the extremely high level of automation in component manufacturing, final assembly of each machine is largely the work of highly skilled fitters, just as it has always been. An ultra-efficient logistics system helps them to meet today’s expectations for flexibility and short order lead times.
