Machine demonstration via online video call

Due to the Corona restrictions of the past months, the market for board games is experiencing strong growth. Recently, we had the opportunity to present our DA 290 casemaker for automatic wrapping and lining of large-format cardboards, e.g. for game boards, to a board game producer interested in our solutions for large-format casemaking via an online video call.

From their offices at the other end of the line, the board game experts watched how game boards were wrapped and lined in a single run on two linked DA 290 casemakers in Rahden. After wrapping in the first machine, the sheet is turned and lined in the second machine to a constant distance of 4 mm from the edge. Automatic separation of the large-format cloths directly from the pallet was also demonstrated. 790 mm wide and 530 mm high cardboards were processed at a speed of 40 cycles per minute. Questions of the board game producers about the production process and the requirements of the DA 290 that arose during the machine demonstration were answered directly by the KOLBUS sales and technology experts.
